Join all the engineering fun as part of our Engineers Week Family Open Day a family fun on Sunday March 1st from 12.00 to 16.00. Admission is free and children and adults can enjoy a series of stands and activities to help discover more about the many different types of engineering.

Activities include VEX robots, LEGO construction challenges, snap circuits, engineering trails, make & do and lots more with all activities staffed by volunteers from Engineers Ireland Cork Branch.
“Meet the Engineers” Open Day is run as part of Engineers Week 2026. The week includes a range of engineering activities offered by Lifetime Lab including Energy Workshops, MathsWorks Mobile school visits and enquiry based learning science workshops. The week is coordinated on a national basis by Engineers Ireland with events and activities available to the public from February 28th to March 6th 2026.
