More Details:
This free event invites teens aged 14-18 to experience a fun, welcoming, and fully alcohol-free night of creativity, connection, and self-expression.
Designed entirely by young people through UP Cork and Cloyne Diocesan Youth Services, the evening offers a relaxed and inclusive space where everyone is encouraged to take part, be themselves, and try something new.
The night begins with a social warm-up - games, quizzes, and group activities help break the ice and create a friendly, low-pressure atmosphere. As the evening builds, the space transforms into an open mic and performance stage, showcasing music, spoken word, drag, and creative expression from young performers. The focus is on celebrating all identities and talents.
The event finishes with a high-energy teen disco, offering all the excitement of a night out in a safe, supportive environment. Alongside the activities, young people will also have the chance to share their voices through short surveys and optional podcast interviews.
The Rebel Teen Social Hive is rooted in collaboration with the Cork Local Creative Youth Partnership and Cork ETB Youth Services, and reflects a strong network of youth groups across the city. Open to all, it’s a space where creativity, community, and belonging come together for one unforgettable night.
This is a Cruinniú Late event supported by the Night Time Economy funding
