Set within the historic walls of Elizabeth Fort, this free live-fire cooking demo event brings together some of Cork’s most exciting culinary talent who are cooking over flame.

Hosted by Samuel McKenna of the McKenna Guides, the programme features a series of fast-paced BBQ demonstrations from leading local chefs, showcasing fire cooking techniques and premium SuperValu meats, with tasty samples to enjoy throughout.

The programme includes:

  • 3pm: Harrison Sharpe (Elbow Lane)
  • 4pm: Brian Murray (The Glass Curtain)
  • 5pm: Victor Franca (Nua Asador)
  • 6pm: Arun Kapil (Green Saffron Spices)
  • 7pm: McKenna’s BBQ Party

Visitors can also browse the pop-up GoldieFish Cork Food & Craft Evening Market and take part in giant outdoor games with Let’s Play Cork, all celebrating food, culture and community in one of the city’s most unique settings.
