Contractors List

To enable you to carry out works, Cork City Council has compiled a list of contractors relating to each type of grant aided work. This lists is there, simply to provide you with some useful information.

Cork City Council does not endorse, recommend, or represent any of the listed contractors and you are free to use any contractor of your choosing.

All contractors must be tax compliant and, in a position to supply their Tax Reference Number and their Tax Clearance Access Number, if they are engaged by an applicant.

This is a list of contractors who are available to do private works under the following schemes:

  1. Housing Adaptation Grant for Disabled People Scheme (HGD)
  2. Mobility Aids Grant Scheme (MAG)
  3. Housing Aid for Older People Grant Scheme (HOP)

    Please note the following:

    The list should be considered as an administrative mechanism to assist applicants.

    • This list is not exclusive. Applicants may engage any contractor of their choosing to carry out works under the schemes.
    • Contractors may request to be added or removed from the list by emailing: housinggrants@corkcity.ie
    • Inclusion on the list does not imply endorsement or guarantee the quality of work provided by any contractor.
    • Cork City Council accepts no liability for any deficient works carried out by contractors listed.
    • Please note that Cork City Council is not involved or responsibility regarding the execution of the works.
