The focus will be on learning how to conduct Flower-Insect Timed Count (FIT Count) which is an easy method used to monitor pollinator activity and that supports the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan. Through the workshop you will gain experience in using the National Biodiversity Data Centre species recording portal and how to enter your species records online. This workshop will highlight how important community involvement is to local biodiversity conservation and empower individuals and community groups to make meaningful contributions to both local and national biodiversity surveys.
