Sláintecare

Sláintecare Healthy Communities was set up to focus on health and wellbeing needs in areas where support is needed most. It is a partnership between the Department of Health, the Health Service Executive (HSE) and the local authority, Cork City Council.

The programme is delivered in partnership with local authorities and community organisations. Its main aim is to reduce health inequalities and improve overall health by addressing the social determinants of health, such as living conditions, access to services and community supports.
