Venue Ballincollig Tidy Towns Allotment 11 am to 1pm

Gunpowdermill Walk and Talk with Tadhg O’Connor.
Meet outside Biodiversity Hub at G.A.A Club entrance. Time 2 to 4pm.

Sunday 16th August

Little Robins Parent and Toddle Nature and Play

Meet at GAA Entrance to the Regional Park

Booking essential on Eventbrite, 10am to 11am & 12pm to 1pm


Tuesday 18th August.

A Demonstration of Dry Stone Wall Building including Language and Tools used by Jim Fahy Craftsman.
Meet at Bicycle Stand in main car park on Inniscarra Road at 7pm

Wednesday 19th August 

What lies beneath - macro inverts of the LEE.

A joint event with Ellen Murphy - Cork Water Community Officer with LAWPRO and Rosemarie McDonald Parks Biodiversity Officer Cork City Council.

Meet at bicycle stand in main car park and heading down to the Weir to take samples. 12pm to 2pm

Bat Walk in Ballincollig Regional Park

Meet at Biodiversity Hub by the GAA Entrance to the Regional Park

Booking essential on Eventbrite, 8pm to 10pm


Thursday 20th August. 

Tree Talk and Walk with Jack Casey and Ronan Nagle
Meet at Bicycle Stand in main car park Inniscarra Road at 10am to approx 12pm.

Children’s Heritage Week Celebration with TeddyBears picnic, Puppet show, Teddybear’s Hospital and Facepainters
Meet adjacent to Playground from 2pm to 4pm



Friday 21st August

Tour of the Fairy Trail with the Elder Fairy Kim and Friends. Costumes Appreciated but not essential.
Meet at Bicycle Stand in main Carpark on Inniscarra Road from 2pm to3.30pm

Saturday 22nd August. 

Bug Walk with Rosemarie McDonald Biodiversity Officer, Parks and Recreation Cork City Council.
Meeting point bicycle stand in main Carpark, Inniscarra Road. 2pm to 3.30pm

Sunday 23rd of August

A performance by the Polyphonics will take place at 2pm close to Café Chico along the wall towards the river in Ballincollig Regional Park.
