Explore the creative possibilities of textile art in this hands-on workshop. Participants will experiment with fabrics, textures, and simple hand-stitching techniques to create their own unique textile piece. Some basic sewing knowledge is recommended.
Sample-Studios and Triskel have joined forces to bring you a full day of hands-on creative workshops for children and their families exploring filmmaking, music production, illustration, and printmaking. Each session is led by a professional artist and is designed to inspire young people to develop new skills, express themselves creatively, and explore the possibilities of a career in the arts.
All materials are provided for the sessions that take place in either Triskel Sample Project Space or Triskel Christchurch. Sessions can be booked individually or all together. Contact info@sample-studios.com for more information.
Workshops are suitable for 8-12 year olds. Children must be accompanied by an adult throughout the workshop.
