Cork Carnival of Science shorlisted for Chambers Ireland Awards

Designed and delivered by the Lifetime Lan team based at Old Cork Waterworks Experience, Cork Carnival of Science is shortlisted under Festival of the Year. The free to attend event took place over two days in June and attracted over 25,000 to Fitzgerald Park with the promotion of and participation with science as its main objective. Participants experienced big top science shows, hands on workshops and table top activities intertwined with live music and street cuisine set out in the easily accessible, child friendly surrounds of Fitzgerald Park. 

The awards ceremony will take place in Dublin on Thursday November 24th

The Excellence in Local Government Awards showcase best practice in local government and recognise the skills, hard work, innovation and enthusiasm within local government that can often go unrecognised. The Excellence in Local Government Awards are held in conjunction with the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage.
