Eva Maaherra Lövheim

Eva Maaherra Lövheim is a Swedish urban planner and strategist with 15 years of experience working at the intersection of sustainable mobility, urban planning and public-sector development.

With a background in human geography and urban planning, Eva has worked with strategic traffic and public transport planning, walking and cycling, mobility management, accessibility and sustainable travel. She has experience from both consultancy and the public sector, and currently works with strategic traffic planning and sustainable mobility in Örnsköldsvik Municipality. Eva is passionate about creating places where sustainable choices are easy, attractive and accessible to everyone. Her work focuses not only on infrastructure and transport systems, but also on the everyday behaviours, norms and conditions that shape how people move. She particularly enjoys finding practical, creative ways to turn ambitious climate and sustainability goals into visible change in people’s everyday lives. She has been involved in projects ranging from local mobility initiatives and traffic modelling to international research and innovation projects on urban greening, wellbeing and sustainable travel. Eva is motivated by collaboration, curiosity and the belief that better cities and communities are built by listening to people and trying new approaches.
