UCC School of BEES
The School of BEES is one of the largest and most research active areas of science at UCC. Covering a variety of subjects from plant science, zoology, ecology, geoscience, environmental science and agricultural science, members of the school teach and carry out research across the natural world. The School of BEES seeks to advance and apply our understanding of the natural world though excellence in research, teaching and innovation - helping to solve some of the global challenges of our time. At the Cork Carnival of Science, visitors will have a chance to meet our scientists, find out more about what we do and take part in fun, hands-on activities and experiments.
