We have prepared a consultation document ‘Our City - Our Future’ to stimulate debate on strategic issues to be considered in the new plan. These issues include climate change, social inclusion, transport, housing, economy, health, culture, heritage, education and biodiversity loss. Ultimately, what do we want our city to be? In terms of development, what should our priorities be?
The Section 11 Chief Executive’s Report in relation to the public consultation on the Issues Paper has been prepared and is available here as Volume 1 and Volume 2. The Report summarises the issues raised in the submissions received and sets out the Chief Executive’s opinion and recommendations on policies to be included in the Draft City Development Plan. This Report has been submitted to the Elected Members of Cork City Council for their consideration.
