Discover Cork: Schools Heritage Project Results
The project is kindly funded by Cork City Council’s Heritage Office (sincere thanks to Niamh Twomey), with support from Old Cork Waterworks Experience (many thanks to Mervyn Horgan). Additional prizes are provided by Learnit Lego Education, Cllr Kieran McCarthy, and Old Cork Waterworks Experience/Lifetime Lab.

Please Note:
- All results are final.
- The award ceremony is on Monday 3 March 2025, 6.30pm, Concert Hall, Cork City Hall. Doors open at 6pm.
- Whereas the focus will be on the presentation of prizes to winners. All students who entered the project are welcome to attend. All projects will be returned on the award ceremony evening.
- The ceremony is about 60 mins. Parents/ Guardians, as well as extended family can attend.
- This event is generally attended by 500 people (participants, winners and their families).
- First placed winners are encouraged to give a minute speech on their project. Trophies are given to fourth and fifth place as well.
- All project books need to be taken away on this evening. They are boxed and ready to go to their schools and homes!
