In June of each year the Lord Mayor is nominated by the City Councillors and holds office for 12 months. The Lord Mayor attends Council meetings and represents the Council at a variety of functions.

Cork City-led Cultureways Project Awarded €750,000 from the Creative Ireland Climate Action Fund

City Honours Those who made the Ultimate Sacrifice
