St Patrick’s Street Bus Service Updates
From next Monday, June 15, 2026, two bus stops outside Brown Thomas on St Patrick’s St will be temporarily suspended, with the affected bus services stopping instead at existing bus shelter just a short walk away.
The move is to facilitate Cork City Council’s St Patrick’s Street Pilot Scheme, the decluttering and planting project on the city’s main street.
Bus passengers are advised that from the early hours of next Monday morning:
- Routes 207, 208, 209/A will use Stop 240491 outside the former Debenhams store;
- Routes 203, 205, 213, 214, 215 will use Stop 241721, just up the road near Merchant’s Quay shopping centre.

Signs will be displayed on the affected bus stops over the coming days advising passengers of the changes.
