Supporters

Race day is very much a city-wide occasion, and supporters play a central role in the atmosphere.

The public is encouraged to line the streets, bring energy and support runners throughout the course.

Recommended viewing points include: The Lough and Washington Street, while the Carrigrohane (Straight) Road and Mardkye Walk are also great vantage points (accessible on foot only due to road closures).

With the new finish line on Grand Parade, the city centre will be a key focal point for spectators, alongside a number of locations across the route where encouragement can make a real difference in the later stages of each race. Spectators are encouraged to share race day moments using the following hashtags: #AnalogDevicesCorkCityMarathon #YourRaceTheirHope

Those who would like to support the family and friends of Ellen Cassidy, who are running in her memory, are asked to wear yellow or hold a yellow banner.

Navigating the City

Temporary road closures, diversions and traffic restrictions will be in place throughout race morning and early afternoon.

People should check information on road closures, diversions and access routes on the official website in advance of race day. Anyone travelling in or through the city is advised to plan ahead.

Organisers acknowledge and appreciate the continued support and patience of residents, businesses and commuters in facilitating an event of this scale.
