Local Safety Plan 2026-2029

A shared plan to enhance Our City, Our Communities, Our Safety. 

The Cork City Local Safety Plan 2026 - 2029 is due to be published this year. It will be the first plan of its kind for Cork City. This plan will set out a shared vision and coordinated actions to improve safety and quality of life across Cork City.

The Public Consultation phase for the development of the Cork City Local Safety Plan 2026 - 2029 will begin on the 21st April and run until the end of May. 

This will feature the following stakeholder engagements:

  • An in-person Public Consultation event on the 21st April at 4pm in Cork City Hall. Register here
  • A Public Survey
  • We will be inviting written submissions
  • We will be visiting all ten Cork City libraries to hear from residents in those areas
  • We will be running a series of bespoke engagement events with a range of stakeholders
