Welcome to Community
Cork City Council’s Community Team focuses on strengthening the role of Cork City Council within local communities through collaboration, engagement, and integration as we respond to area needs while endeavouring to advance specific initiatives.
We advocate for social justice and policy changes, and foster community engagement through volunteerism and local initiatives. This team plays a crucial role in addressing issues such as poverty, inequality, and social exclusion.
Ní neart go cur le chéile - nee n-y-arth guh cur leh kayla - There is no strength without unity
(literal - there is no strength without coming together)
