Cork City Council Launches Corporate Plan Public Survey

09/05/2025

Cork City Council has launched a survey inviting the public to have a say on how they would like the Council to progress over the next number of years.

The survey will feed into the Council’s Corporate Plan which will dictate the development of the Council up to 2029.

Cork City Council's Corporate Plan will set out the City Council's vision for the next five years and highlight key objectives and goals, for example, social inclusion, sustainable and economic development, transport, delivery of housing, community and neighbourhood engagement, environment and climate issues, amongst others.

The Chief Executive of Cork City Council, Valerie O’Sullivan said: “The Corporate Plan acts as a roadmap for the decisions and the actions that will be set in place to achieve our long-term ambitions for our city. We want to build on what we have already achieved for the city and we would like to hear from you. This survey seeks to reflect your experience of the city; where people like to go; what people like to do and some of the things you would like to see happen.  In essence, your broad experience of what it is to live in Cork. We invite you to help shape our Corporate Plan by completing our online survey.”

This public survey, combined with other surveys already conducted on the social and economic development of the city, will be used to help shape the development of the Corporate Plan. We may include quotes of comments made, but they will not be attributed to any individual.  All responses to questions that require personal details, such as gender and age, are only used for classification and the survey is completely anonymous.
