Join Cork City Councils' Biodiversity Officers Rosemarie & Usna to learn about Citizen Science Surveys, how to participate in a wide variety of surveys from pollinators to wildflowers, birds and mammals surveys and gain hand-on experience in conducting your own citizen science survey and how to enter your data online. We will focus on learning how to conduct Flower-Insect Timed Count (FIT Count) which is an easy method used to monitor pollinator activity and it also supports the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan.

This workshop will highlight how important community involvement is to local biodiversity conservation and empower individuals and community groups to make meaningful contributions to both local and national biodiversity surveys.
