Youth Theatre Ireland presents, Youth Theatre Island!
In partnership with Theatre and Dance NI, we are bringing 4 youth theatres from across the island to perform at The Everyman Theatre on June 7th, Cruinniú na nÓg, 2025. The youth theatres performing in Cork will be: Activate Youth Theatre, UCC Youth Theatre, Barnstorm Youth Theatre, and Waterford Youth Arts.
The show will last around one hour and each youth theatre will perform for 10-15 minutes. What’s exciting is that these plays have all been devised or written for/by young people! The age range for the show is 12+ and is a great chance to see what youth theatre is all about.
After the performance, we will run a Youth Theatre taster workshop for any young person aged 12-18 who is currently not in a youth theatre or involved in the creative arts. Check out the workshop event page to book and for more information!
Youth Theatre gives young people a safe space to express themselves, be heard, be who they are, make new friends, and most importantly have fun!
