Cork’s St. Patrick’s Festival celebrates Irish traditional and contemporary culture.
The listings on these pages showcase standout music gigs from Irish performers in both traditional and modern styles, dance events and outdoor family fun, including our Céilí Mór, the Night Market and late‑opening cafés, and also maybe some surprises for those in the city over the festival period – watch our Facebook or Instagram for news. And don’t forget – Mother’s Day is March 15th, so treat her to a great gig or bring the family out to play!
Fáilte Ireland, through it's Regional St. Patrick's Festival Scheme has supported Cork City Council in presenting the following special events for the 2026 Festival:
- Irish Women in Harmony – an inspiring collective Irish female artists and musicians
- Séamus and Caoimhe Uí Fhlatharta - RTÉ Folk Awardees 2024
- Traditional family games – in Bishop Lucey Park & Elizabeth Fort
- An Céilí Mór at City Hall – practise or learn the classic Irish group dances

- Night Market on Cornmarket Street
- Coffee House Lates - further supported by corkbusiness.ie

Also supported by Cork City Council are:
- Ceol Chorcaí – Traditional music and dance from with Comhaltas groups across Munster
- The Lee Sessions Trad Trail – 32 sessions in 5 days in pubs from Blarney to Ballincollig - Friday 13th Saturday 14th Sunday 15th Monday 16th Tuesday 17th
