Blackpool Community Outdoor Christmas Market
Location: Blackpool Plaza, Blackpool Church, T23 FW44.
Description: Annual Community Event which takes place beginning of Dec., 10 am to 1 pm, this year it is on Friday 5th December. The Christmas Market encourages local groups, individuals to take part in this market. They sell home made cakes etc. as a form of fundraising for their groups, 12 tables in total at the event. Local Primary Schools take part in singing Carols, Lord Mayor attends, small however powerful and uplifting for the Blackpool Village, some of the groups that take part are Blackpool Men’s Shed, Blackpool Over 60s, The Foyer etc., This is a collaboration event with Cork City Partnership, Cork City Council, HSE and Blackpool Community Centre, The Local Gardai.
