Route 213 from Black Ash Park & Ride

Operating until 10pm on November 14th 2025

• From Black Ash Park & Ride Site via South Link Road; Eglinton Street; Terence McSwiney Quay; left to Anglesea Street; South Terrace; Georges Quay, South Mall and as per normal Route to Black Ash Park & Ride Site

Route 213 can be accessed at Bus Stops on Eglinton Street, South Mall and Anglesea Street (City Hall).

Note: Bus Stops on Merchant’s Quay, St. Patrick’s Street and Grand Parade will not be served.

To facilitate the Corkmas Parade, the following Road Closures, Diversions & Parking Restrictions will be in place on Friday 14th November 

Roads will open when safe to allow access, which could be in advance of advertised time

ROAD CLOSURES

from 18:30 to 19.30 hrs

• Sheares Street
• Washington Street from the junction of Sheares St. to Grand Parade.
• North Main Street from the junction of Kyrl’s Quay to the Washington Street junction.
• Adjacent streets including Adelaide Street, Cornmarket Street, Liberty Street, Kyle Street, Castle Street and Augustine Street.
• Grand Parade from the junction of Washington Street to Parliament Bridge.

from 19.00 to 20.00 hrs

• St Patrick’s Street from the junction of Washington Street/Grand Parade to the top of St Patrick’s Street at the junction of St. Patrick’s Bridge.
• St. Peters and Pauls Ave and St Peter’s and Paul’s Place,
• Half Moon Street
• Adjacent streets including Academy Street, Drawbridge Street, Emmett Place, Bowling Green Street and William Street

from 19.30 to 20.30hrs

• Coburg Street
• St Patrick’s Hill from Wellington Road Junction to MacCurtin Street Junction
• MacCurtain Street

TRAFFIC DIVERSIONS

Streets affected include:

• Lavitt’s Quay/Merchant’s Quay junction onto Patrick’s Bridge.
• Patricks Quay/Camden Quay junction onto Bridge Street

from 18:30 to 19:30 hrs

• Parliament Bridge: all traffic will be diverted right onto South Mall.

There will be no left turn from Parliament Bridge onto Grand Parade

from 19.00 to 20.30 hrs

• No left turn from Parnell Place

• No right turn from Brian Boru Bridge

• No left turn from Christy Ring Bridge

PARKING RESTRICTIONS

from 15:00 to 20.30
Parking will be removed from the following streets.

• North Main Street 

• St Patrick’s Street

• MacCurtain Street

• Bridge Street - loading bays removed

The following diversions to Bus Services in Cork city will be in place between 18:30hrs and 20:30hrs.approx on 11th November 2025: 

• Route 201 will operate as per normal service.

• Route 202 will operate as per normal service

• Route 203 from Manor Farm to Parklands
  • Via South Mall, Merchant’s Quay, Lavitt’s Quay, Christy Ring Bridge, Mulgrave Road and as per normal route.
  • Patrick’s Street, Bridge Street and Coburg Street will not be served.
  • Route 203 will serve Route 206 Bus Stop on South Mall.

• Route 203 from Parklands to Manor Farm:
  • Via Christy Ring Bridge, Lavitt’s Quay, Merchant’s Quay, Clontarf Street to Anglesea Street and as per normal Route.
  • Bus Stops on Coburg Street, St. Patrick’s Street, Grand Parade and South Mall will not be served.
  • Route 203 can be accessed at bus stop at Anglesea Street (City Hall).

• Route 205 from Kent Station to CIT:
  • Via Brian Boru Bridge; Merchant’s Quay; Lavitt’s Quay; Grattan Street to Washington Street and as per normal Route.
  • Bus Stops on St. Patrick’s Street will not be served
  • Route 205 can be accessed at Bus stops at Parnell Place (City Bus Stop) and Washington Street.

• Route 205 from CIT to Kent Station:
  • Via Western Road; Grenville Place; Bachelors Quay; Merchant’s Quay; Brian Boru Bridge; Brian Boru Street; Lower Glanmire Road.
  • Bus Stops at Daunt Square, St. Patrick’s Street, McCurtain Street will not be served.
  • Route 205 can be accessed at 202 Bus Stop on Merchant’s Quay (Riverside)

• Route 206 will operate as per normal service.

• Route 207 from Donnybrook to Glenheights:
  • Via Parliament Bridge, South Mall, Brian Boru Bridge to Summerhill North and as per normal route.
  • Bus Stops on Grand Parade (City Library), Daunt Square, St. Patrick’s Street, Bridge Street, McCurtain Street will not be served.
  • Route 207 can be accessed on George’s Quay, and South Mall (206 Bus Stop)

• Route 207 from Glenheights to Donnybrook:
  • Summerhill North, Brian Boru Bridge, Clontarf Street, Anglesea Street and as per normal Route.
  • Bus Stops at McCurtain Street, Bridge Street, St. Patrick’s Street, Grand Parade, South Mall will not be served.
  • Route 207 can be accessed at Bus Stops on Summerhill North and Anglesea Street (City Hall)

• Route 207A from Glenthorn
  • Summerhill North, Brian Boru Street, St. Patrick’s Quay, Camden Quay, Christy Ring Bridge; Lavitt’s Quay, Merchant’s Quay to Brian Boru Bridge/Street, Summerhill North and as per normal Route
  • Route 207A can be accessed at 202 Bus Stop on Merchant’s Quay Riverside
  • Route 207A Bus Stop on Merchant’s Quay (Dunnes) will not be served for the duration of the diversion.

• Route 208 from Ashmount to Curraheen
  • Via Summerhill North, Merchant’s Quay, Lavitt’s Quay, Grattan Street, Washington Street and as per normal Route.
  • Bus Stops on McCurtain Street, Bridge Street and St. Patrick’s Street will not be served.
  • Route 208 can be accessed at Bus Stops on Summerhill North and Washington Street.

• Route 208 from Curraheen to Ashmount:
  • Via Western Road; Grenville Place; Bachelors Quay; Lavitt’s Quay’ Merchant’s Quay; Brian Boru Bridge to Summerhill North and as per normal Route.
  • Bus Stops on Daunt Square, St. Patrick’s Street, Bridge Street and McCurtain Street will not be served.
  • Route 208 can be accessed at 202 Bus Stop Merchant’s Quay (Riverside) and Summerhill North.

• Route 212 from Mahon Point to Kent Station:
  • Via Lower Oliver Plunkett Street, Michael Collins Bridge, Ship Street to Kent Station.
  • Bus Stops on Merchant’s Quay, McCurtain Street will not be served.
  • Route 212 can be accessed at Bus Stop on Eglinton Street and Bus Stop on Lower Oliver Plunkett Street.

• Route 212 from Kent Station to Mahon Point will operate as per normal Route.

• Route 213 from Black Ash Park & Ride:
  • From Black Ash Park & Ride Site via Eglinton Street, Anglesea Street, Georges Quay, South Mall and as per normal Route to Black Ash Park & Ride Site
  • Bus Stops on Merchant’s Quay, St. Patrick’s Street and Grand Parade will not be served.
  • Route 213 can be accessed at Bus Stops on Eglinton Street, South Mall and Anglesea Street (City Hall).

• Route 214 from CUH to Glyntown

  • Via Wandsford Quay; Western Road; Dyke Parade; Bachelor’s Quay; Lavitt’s Quay; Merchant’s Quay; Brian Boru Bridge; Lower Glanmire Road and as per normal Route.

  • Bus Stops at Daunt Square, St. Patrick’s Street, McCurtain Street will not be served.

• • Route 214 can be accessed at Bus Stop on Wandsford Quay and Route 202 Bus Stop on Merchant’s Quay (Riverside)

• Route 214 from Glyntown to CUH:
  • From Kent Station via Brian Boru Bridge, Clontarf Street, Anglesea Street, George’s Quay, Sullivan’s Quay and as per normal Route.
  • Bus Stops at Parnell Place (City Bus Stop), St. Patrick’s Street and South Main Street will not be served.
  • Route 214 can be accessed at Bus Stops at Anglesea Street (City Hall), George’s Quay and French’s Quay.

• Route 215 from Cloghroe to Jacob’s Island:
  • Via Watercourse Road, Carrolls Quay, Christy Ring Bridge, Merchant’s Quay, Clontarf Street, Anglesea Street and as per normal Route
  • Bus Stops on Coburg Street, St. Patrick’s Street will not be served.
  • Route 215 can be accessed at Bus Stops on Watercourse Road and Anglesea Street (City Hall)

• Route 215 from Jacob’s Island to Cloghroe:
  • Via Parliament Bridge to South Mall, Merchant’s Quay, Christy Ring Bridge, Mulgrave Road and as per normal Route.
  • Bus Stop on Grand Parade (City Library), St. Patrick’s Street and Coburg Street will not be served.
  • Route 215 can be accessed at Bus Stops on George’s Quay, South Mall (206 Bus Stop), Mulgrave Road.

• 215A: will operate as per normal route.

• 216 from Monkstown to CUH
  • Via George’s Quay, then ahead to Sullivan’s Quay and as per normal Route.
  • Route 216 can be accessed at Bus Stops on South Terrace, George’s Quay and French’s Quay.
  • Bus Stops on Grand Parade and South Main Street will not be served.

• 216 from CUH to Monkstown
  • Wandsford Quay, Western Road; Dyke Parade; Grenville Place; Bachelors Quay; Lavitt’s Quay; Merchant’s Quay; Clontarf Street; Anglesea Street.
  • Bus Stops on Grand Parade; South Main Street will not be served.
  • Route 216 can be accessed at Bus Stop on Anglesea Street (City Hall) and Bus Stop on Wandsford Quay.

• 219: will operate as per normal route

• 220 from Ovens/Ballincollig:
  • Western Road; Grenville Place; Bachelors Quay; Lavitt’s Quay; Merchant’s Quay; Clontarf Street; Anglesea Street and as per normal route.
  • Bus Stops on Sheares Street (Mercy Hospital); Grand Parade; South Mall will not be served
  • Route 220 can be accessed at Bus Stops at Presentation College (Dyke Parade); Anglesea Street (City Hall)

• 220 from Camden/Carrigaline to Ballincollig/Ovens
  • George’s Quay; Sullivan’s Quay; Sharman Crawford Street; Wandsford Quay; Washington Street/Western Road and as per normal Route.
  • Bus stop on Grand Parade will not be served.
  • Route 220 can be accessed at Bus Stops on George’s Quay; Washington Street; Lancaster Quay (River Lee Hotel)

• 220X from Crosshaven to Ballincollig/Ovens:
  • George’s Quay; Sullivan’s Quay; Wandsford Quay; Western Road and as per normal route.
  • Bus Stop on Grand Parade will not be served.
  • Route 220X can be accessed at bus stops on South Terrace; George’s Quay; Lancaster Quay (River Lee Hotel)

• 220X from Ovens to Crosshaven/Fountainstown
  • Western Road; Grenville Place; Bachelors Quay; Lavitt’s Quay; Merchant’s Quay; Clontarf Street; Anglesea Street and as per normal route.
  • Bus Stops on Sheare’s Street (Mercy Hospital); Grand Parade and South Mall will not be served.
  • Route 220X can be accessed at bus stops at Presentation College (Dyke Parade) and Anglesea Street (City Hall).
