Safe and Sound Safety Training Platform
Safety remains a key priority within Ireland's Night-Time Economy Taskforce Report and Cork City Council’s NTE Strategy. Recognising the unique challenges faced by businesses and individuals both out and operating in the evening and night-time, Cork City’s NTE Section is taking proactive steps to enhance safety by providing a suite of online training to support businesses and individuals.
The ‘Safe & Sound’ initiative is a visionary approach to regional development for Cork’s night-time economy. It gives our businesses and workers the tools they need to create safer, more welcoming spaces for everyone after dark.
From pubs and clubs to theatres and taxis, this training and the tailored policy templates will help embed a culture of care, confidence, and accountability across the sector.
It’s a practical, forward-thinking step that supports our shared vision of a vibrant, inclusive, and resilient night-time economy in Cork.
