Getting Around

There are so many ways to make your way to Cork on a Fork fest, we strongly urge all event goers to use public transport where possible or car share.

Buses are a great way to travel, no worries about finding parking!

Bus Éireann operate a huge number of routes from all parts of Cork including towns and villages on the Wild Atlantic Way and Ireland’s Ancient East to Cork City Centre. Cork’s main bus station is located at Parnell Place in the city centre. West Cork Connect also provides bus links from West Cork to the city centre. Cobh Connect buses serve the Cobh-Cork City route while the Local Link minibus network spans the entire county.

You can purchase a TFI Leap Card, which is up to 30% cheaper than cash single fares and can be used on Cork City bus services (operated by Bus Éireann)

The Black Ash Park and Ride to St. Patrick's Street is served by Bus Éireann - Route 213 (Monday to Saturdays, not Public Holidays) This bus runs non-stop between the carpark at Black Ash and the City-centre, using bus-lanes on the South Link Rd.

If you want to put your feet up and do some window gazing, travelling by rail is the way to go. Cork’s rail network in the east runs from Cobh to Midleton and in the west runs from Cork City to Mallow. For more information visit Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail website.

You can purchase a TFI Leap Card, which is cheaper than cash and can be used on Cork City bus services (operated by Bus Éireann) as well as Cork commuter rail services on the Cork-Cobh and Cork-Midleton lines.
