Lord Mayor's Gala Christmas Concert

Description: With the theme of “A Very Cork Christmas,” this year’s Gala Concert promises an unforgettable evening which will showcase the very best of Cork talent. The line-up will include Majella Cullagh, Lady Fi, Barry Tierney and the Cork Concert Orchestra conducted by Brian Prendargast. Also performing will be Montfort Youth Choir, Cór Cois Abhann, the Garda Male Voice Choir, Joan Denise Moriarty School of Dance and Signalman Araon Kearney of the Irish Defence Forces. Audience favourite Elmarie Mawe will return as MC for the evening.

As always, the Gala Christmas Concert is a charity event, and this year’s beneficiaries will be Samaritans Cork, The Alzheimer Society of Ireland and Shine A Light.
