Background
Tools of the Trade 2025 presents this exhibition of artworks by the children of 4th Class at St Maries of the Isle and 4th Class at St. Patricks Girls NS on Gardners Hill. Inspired by this year's project partners The School of Earth and Environmental Science UCC, and the Slow Camera Exchange at Grand Parade Library. With a visit to the MTU supported studios and exhibition "Species" at Grand Parade Gallery, the children have responded to the works on display with a focus on the colourful work of Artist Íde Ní Shúilleabháin. This was followed by a documented field trip to a local shoreline with Marine Biologist Dr Louise Firth, the children used analogue film to record the experience.
