Project Ireland 2040 is the overarching policy and framework for the social, economic and cultural development of our Country. It consists of two companion documents, namely, the National Planning Framework, and the National Development Plan.
The National Planning Framework is a planning framework to guide development and investment over the period to 2040 through a set of national objectives and key principles from which more detailed and refined plans will follow.
The National Development Plan is a detailed capital investment plan for the period 2018 - 2027.
