Cork City Council supports social enterprises with "Buy Social" event

Cork City Council is delighted to host a, Buy Social, ‘Meet and Greet’, a free event in the Millennium Hall on November 14^th from 10 a.m. until 12.30 p.m.  The event is an opportunity for social enterprises in Cork to showcase their services to potential buyers.

The event is one of many that is taking place nationally as part of Buy Social Week #BuySocialIRL (14^th-18^th November) and has been organised with the support of the Irish Social Enterprise Network (ISEN).

This week is intended to encourage social enterprises to display their services and products for sale, highlight their work and give the opportunity to potential purchasers to interact and meet whilst creating awareness for businesses of Corporate Social Responsibility opportunities available from working with Social Enterprises. 

It is hoped that local businesses and procurement professionals will attend the event, and that it will serve as a catalyst for an increased profile for social enterprises and secure a wider audience for their goods and services.  It promises to be an exciting chance for shared learning and the identification of new opportunities.

There will be no charge to attend the event.
