Lord Mayor of Cork

In June of each year the Lord Mayor is nominated by the City Councillors and holds office for 12 months. The Lord Mayor attends Council meetings and represents the Council at a variety of functions.

Any group wishing to invite the Lord Mayor, Lady Mayoress or their Deputy to attend a function should complete the below form and submit to:

The Lord Mayor of Cork, Cllr Fergal Dennehy, joined the Mayor of Lynn, Massachusetts, Jared Nicholson, to plant a commemorative tree in the birthplace of Volunteer Joseph (Joe) Murphy, the Irish Republican who died on hunger strike in Cork in 1920.
