Lord Mayor's Gala Christmas Concert 2025

The Lord Mayor’s Gala Christmas Concert returns to Cork City Hall on Saturday, 6th December 2025, promising one of the most memorable nights of the festive season. With the theme “A Very Cork Christmas,” this year’s Concert will celebrate tradition, music, and community spirit, uniting Cork finest choirs, soloists and musicians.

A spectacular line up will see soloists Majella Cullagh, Lady Fi, and Barry Tierney joined by the Cork Concert Orchestra and an ensemble of local talent including Joan Denise Moriarty School of Dance, Montforts Youth Choir, Cór Cois Abhann, the Garda Male Voice Choir, and Signalman Araon Kearney of the Irish Defence Forces.

As is tradition, the Gala Christmas Concert is a charity event and this year’s proceeds will go to Cork Alzheimer’s, Shine A Light, and Samaritans Cork, making it the perfect way to embrace the magic of the season and create a lasting impact.
