About

Cork Heritage Open Day takes place on Saturday, August 15th. This is the 21st Anniversary of Cork Heritage Open Day, a festival which celebrates the built heritage in Cork. For one day only, over 42 buildings in the city will open their doors to the public and offer free guided  tours of their building.

Local historians will give guided historical walking tours along the streets of Cork. The city will celebrate its history in style through a wonderful programme of free talks, exhibitions, heritage demonstrations and family friendly events.

Part of National Heritage Week, the festival which has been running for over 21 years is a testament to how much the citizens of Cork love and cherish their built heritage.
