Rebel Pedal Parade! The Biggest Cork Bike Parade...Ever !

The Rebel Pedal Parade, a lively, vibrant and playful experience to celebrate on two wheels the joys of cycling in Cork will take place on the streets of the city on Saturday, September 22nd. Street artists and freaky machines will proudly lead the public procession through the city centre of Cork (registration at 11:30 am from Emmet place). A street festival is proposed following the parade, including free refreshments, juggling, face painting, bike-powered juicer, head and neck massages and Free Bike Clinic. All welcome!

The Rebel Pedal Parade! is organised by Cork Environmental Forum and Cork City Council during the European Mobility Week 2007 (see our related page), an international event which involves over 1,000 towns and cities throughout Europe to highlight the necessity for changes in behaviour in relation to mobility and in particular the use of the private car.
