Coach Hill Road Improvement Scheme

Works Extent
Cork City Council intends to upgrade the existing L2472 Coach Hill Road and associated junction with the R610 Rochestown Road.
Objective
The scheme is an extensive Urban Road Improvement Project that will include the introduction of new footpaths, road widening & surfacing and other associated works such as new boundary treatments, public lighting, signage, etc.. A certain amount of land acquisition will be necessary to facilitate the above works. The completion of the proposed local road improvement scheme will improve the road infrastructure for road users with specific benefits for pedestrians. The scheme measures approximately 800 m in length.
Timeline
Cork City Council intends to progress the detailed design, planning and land acquisition in 2023 with construction to follow thereafter.
