Flood risk warning 26-27 November - road closures in place

Morrisons Island, Union Quay, Father Mathew Quay and Wandesford Quay will be closed from 7pm tonight due to forecasted high Spring tides in the early hours of tomorrow.

From Tuesday morning until Wednesday evening, prior to and after these tides, there is a significant risk of flooding in the city.

Cork City Council crews will be in place overnight and these road closures will be reviewed in the early hours of the morning.

High tide times of note are Tuesday at 4:50am AND at 5.13pm and Wednesday at 05.34 am.
