Book of Condolence for the victims and survivors of Sri Lanka tragedy

The Lord Mayor of Cork, Cllr. Mick Finn has opened a Book of Condolence today (Wednesday 24th April) in the Atrium of Cork City Hall, Anglesea Street, for the victims and survivors of the bombings in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday, 21st April.

Speaking in advance of the opening of the Book of Condolence the Lord Mayor said: “The thoughts and prayers of the people of Cork are with the great people of Sri Lanka and of course the families and friends of the dead and injured of this unspeakable tragedy. We extend our sympathies also to those living in Cork who have links with Sri Lanka.”

The Book of Condolence will be available for signing during normal office hours, Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. in the foyer of the City Hall offices for a period of two weeks.
