ONGOING WORKS

  • Horgan’s/Penrose Quay: Lane restrictions in place 24hrs to facilitate water mains project, possible delays, (MGintyO’Shea).
  • Custom House Street: Lane restrictions (single lane) in place and possible delays, between 09:30hrs and 15:00hrs to facilitate gas works (Bord Gais).
  • Albert Quay: Lane restrictions in place and possible delays, between 0900hrs and 15:30hrs to facilitate gas works (Bord Gais).
  • Lower Glanmire Road (between Summer Hill North and Kent Station)
  • Road markings temporarily re-lined (parking bays suspended), pedestrian management in place between Ship Street/Brian-Boru Street/Lower Glanmire Road. Possible delays. Works ongoing until December 2014 (Ward & Burke)
  • Ballyhooley Road: parking restrictions in place from 09:30hrs – 16:30hrs to facilitate footpath renewal works (McGinty & O’Shea on behalf of CCC).
  • Barrack Street: will remain closed from Green Street to Reed Square until October 2014 to facilitate the Barrack Street Renewal Works Phase 2 (McGinty&O’Shea) – works remain ongoing at Noonan Road/Bandon Road junction until mid Sept 2014
  • Merchants Quay: Bus lane closed (for approx 30m from the jct with Parnell Place)
  • Parnell Place Renewal Project: Works near completion,late 2014 (McGinty&O’Shea)
  • UCC Cycle Route: works near completion
  • Public Bike Scheme Enabling Works: works near completion

Friday 12th September 2014

  • Railway Street: Outbound road closure in place from jct of Horgan’s Quay/Railway Street – jct of Alfred Street/Railway Street. Closure in place until Friday 12th September 2014 inclusive
  • Alfred Street: Parking restrictions in place 24hrs until 24th September 2014 inclusive to facilitate water mains works (MGOS)
  • Lynch’s Street: Road closure in place until 19th September 2014 inclusive

Saturday 13th September 2014

  • Alfred Street: Parking restrictions in place 24hrs until 24th September 2014 inclusive to facilitate water mains works (MGOS).
  • Blackrock Road: (near jct with Victoria Rd/Old Blackrock Road) Stop/Go in place from 0830hrs – 1530hrs to facilitate tree felling (Parks Dept)
  • Lynch’s Street: Road closure will stay in place until 19th September 2014 inclusive
  • Carroll’s Quay (at the junction with Christy Ring Bridge): Lane restrictions in place from 0700hrs to 1100hrs to facilitate the replacement of damaged traffic lanterns (Traffic Dept, CCC)
  • Deerpark Estate: Stop/Go in place from 0930hrs – 1700hrs to facilitate sewer repair

Sunday 14th September 2014

  • Alfred Street: Parking restrictions in place 24hrs until 24th September 2014 inclusive to facilitate water mains works (MGOS)
  • Lynch’s Street: Road closure in place until 19th September 2014 inclusive
  • Ballyhooly road: Road closure in place from the junction of Glen Avenue to Dillon’s Cross from 0900hrs – 1600hrs to facilitate Water Dept CCC, diversion route in place

Monday 15th September 2014

  • The Jack Lynch Tunnel: will be closed from 2000hrs to 0700hrs to facilitate repair works, diversions in place
  • Alfred Street: Parking restrictions in place 24hrs until 24th September 2014 inclusive to facilitate water mains works (MGOS)
  • Browningstown Park: Stop/Go in place from 0930hrs – 1800hrs to facilitate sewer repair
  • Broad Street: Possible delays and restrictions in place from 0930hrs – 1630hrs (Eircom)
  • Model Farm Road: (O/S Entrance to Mount Mercy Convent) Stop/Go in place from 1930hrs to 2330hrs to facilitate fibre connections (Eircom)
  • Lynch’s Street: Road closure in place until 19th September 2014 inclusive
  • Congress Road: possible delays and restrictions from 0800hrs – 1800hrs to facilitate the installation of fibre optic cables (UPC), local access will be maintained

Tuesday 16th September 2014

  • Bishopstown Road: Possible delays and restrictions between Bandon Road Roundabout & Hawke’s Road from 1930hrs – 2300hrs to facilitate road lining (Traffic Dept, CCC)
