Who We are

We are a department of 43 people led by Kevin Terry, Director and City Engineer. 

The Directorate is comprised of three teams managed by the following group managers:

Planning Policy: Ann Bogan, Senior Planner

Development Management: Ronnie McDowell, Senior Planner

Enforcement: Elizabeth Kidney, Senior Executive Officer 

Our professional team currently consists of 15 planners, 4 technicians, 2 engineers, 2 planning inspectors, a Conservation Officer, an Archaeologist, a Heritage Officer, and 17 administrative support staff, who together are able to offer excellence in planning and development services to best meet the needs of our customers and the needs of Cork City as a whole.
