Cork City Council has been shortlisted for a Working in Partnership award at the 2018 Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) Awards

Cork City Council is delighted to announce we have been shortlisted for a Working in Partnership award at the 2018 Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) Awards. The Council was nominated for  the Addition of Approved Housing Bodies to the Choice Based Letting Website initiative, which demonstrated a strong example of working in partnership between the City Council and Approved Housing Bodies (AHBs).

Following an initial consultation with a broad range of stakeholders at the end of 2016, a project team consisting of staff from Cork City Council and 3 selected AHBs, Co-Operative Housing, An Tuath and Cluid, was set up and worked throughout the year, with the first AHB property advertised on the enhanced Choice Based Letting website in October 2017.

The 2018 CIH housing awards will be held in Belfast on 23 February 2018.
