LEO Local Enterprise Week - March 6th to 10th
More than 3,000 people will attend business events in Cork from Monday 6th to Friday 10th March as part of Local Enterprise Week. The week-long schedule of events will include conferences, workshops, seminars, networking, and business advice clinics.

Ambassadors on Cruise Ships
Cork City Council is currently in the process of establishing a Cruise Ambassador Programme on a pilot basis and will be working with external stakeholders i.e. Port of Cork,  CBA, Iarnród Eireann Cork, and Visit Cork regarding the implementation of this pilot programme.  The Cruise Ambassadors will embark on its arrival into Port  and will provide a warm welcome to Cork and distribute the necessary information such as maps, tourism information leaflets, ad advise on all that Cork City has to offer the cruise visitor to enhance their visit. It is anticipated that they will service more than 65 cruise liners which are due to visit Cork during the 2017 season.
