Interreg Europe Programme

Cork City Council together with Cork Innovates andpartners in Spain, Malta, Slovenia, Estonia, Poland, and the UK have been successful in their bid for funding to the Interreg Europe programme.  The partnership working under the name of the InnovaFoster project, has a budget of over €1million  to be spent over a 4 year period on actions which will help to inform, develop and improve policies in order to support and harness the innovation and growth potential of young SMEs in the region. The project will seek to support and capitalise on the ability  of start ups to act as regional innovation providers. The consortium will develop and implement a set of regional actions plans to fulfil this aim.
