Cork Coffee Weekend
Cork Coffee Weekend, running from 27th - 29th of January, is a showcase of Cork city's independently owned cafés. Cork Coffee Weekend celebrates our city's vibrant coffee scene. Over the course of three days, many events will take place including roaster talks, tastings and much more. More information

New City Defibrillator
A new defibrillator has been installed on MacCurtain Street in the Victorian Quarter.Recently,the defibrillator located on Oliver Plunkett Street was used to assist someone who collapsed on the street.Special thanks to Cork Lions Club for all the work they do to ensure defibrillators are made available to the general public.

Quarter Block Party
The Quarter Block Party returns to the Old Town as music,art and theatre performances take over North and South Main Street, from the 3rd - 5th February. Supported by Cork City Council and The Arts Council, Quarter Block Party promises an abundance of exciting artists to suit all tastes. More information

Cork Burger Festival
Cork Burger Festival will take place from 30th January - 5th February. Restaurants throughout the city will feature special burgers for the week. Expect competitions, interactive events, tastings and pop-up shops at different locations across the city. More information

    

Flood Relief Scheme
Detailed designs for Cork city's flood defences are now available in Cork City Hall or on http://www.lowerleefrs.ie The scheme will go through Cork city and its tributaries for the purpose of preventing or substantially reducing the periodical localised flooding of lands. 

Cork City Marathon
Cork City Marathon 2017 - Date ChangeThis year Cork City Marathon will take place on Sunday 4th June. More information
