Cork as an Age Friendly City

The Cork Age Friendly City programme is a new initiative to bring a focus on the needs of older people in the city. Cork Age Friendly City will consult with older peo-ple around issues such as lifestyle, environment, business and other issues impact-ing their lives in the city.

As part of the programme it is intended to form an older people’s forum to repre-sent older people on the Cork City Age Friendly Alliance (the interagency steering group that will oversee the programme).


The seminar is intended for group organisers, chairs and secretaries of older peoples’ groups operating in the city.
