Irish Water Taking Customer Calls from Tuesday 29th April 2014

Irish Water is the new national water utility and is now responsible for managing the delivery of water services to homes and businesses in Ireland. As part of this role they have setup a call centre to handle their Customer Service Requests.  The Local Authority will no longer be taking these requests as and from Tuesday 29th April 2014.

Irish Water is responsible for

  • Drinking Water quality   
  • Wastewater

Cork City Council Out of Hours Service will continue to operate as normal dealing with Water & Wastewater emergency work that cannot wait until normal working hours.

Non emergency requests are to be transferred to the Irish Water, 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday.
