The Lord Mayor's Coffee Morning in aid of Marymount Hospice, held in the Millennium Hall on the 19th September, was a tremendous success.
The total raised was €3388.75.
A big thank you to everybody who helped make the coffee morning such a success and raised money for this worthy cause.
Speaking in advance of the event, Cork’s Lord Mayor, Cllr Catherine Clancy acknowledged the contribution made by the hospice to the people of Cork and encouraged all Cork people to come to the Millennium Hall to support the event.“I am delighted to have this opportunity to host this coffee morning in aid of Marymount Hospice. The service which the hospice provides to the Cork people, and the dedication, sincerity, sensitivity and professionalism shown by staff are exceptional. This is a cause worthy and deserving of our support and encouragement. I am sure that the people of Cork will support this event as fully as they have in the past and raise much needed funds for Marymount Hospice”.
The Lord Mayor also acknowledged the support of the business community in Cork in supporting this annual event.
