Since the first batch came off the printers, organisers of Cork Rebel Week have been inundated with applications for the coveted Rebel Passport, with thousands of people from all over the globe vying to prove their “Corkness” and get their hands on one. Now there’s an opportunity for businesses from all over Cork City and County to get in on the act and become a Rebel Passport Partner free of charge.
Organisers of Cork Rebel Week are inviting all types of businesses to attend the Rebel Passport Roadshow and learn more about the opportunities available to them in relation to Cork’s flagship Gathering event which takes place from October 14th – 20th.
The Rebel Passport Roadshow takes place on Tuesday 11th June from 2.30pm to 4pm in The Concert Hall in City Hall, Cork, and here businesses can find out how they can join the likes of Bord Gais and Cork Airport, and get involved in the hugely acclaimed Rebel Passport initiative. At Tuesday’s Roadshow, businesses will hear from Lord Mayor, Cllr. John Buttimer; President of Cork Chamber, Gillian Keating; Chairman of Cork Business Association, Ernest Cantillon; and County Mayor, Cllr. Barbara Murray about what Cork Rebel Week means for the Cork economy, and the benefits it affords to Cork businesses. Padraic O’Kane, Cork Rebel Week organiser will give a short presentation on the Rebel Passport and ways in which businesses can get involved and reap the benefits.
