Lord Mayor Hosts Benhaffaf Family in City Hall

On Weds 15th June 2010 the Lord Mayor of Cork Cllr Dara Murphy  and Cork City Council welcomed Angie and Azzedine Benhaffaf and their family to City Hall for a reception in their honour. The private reception took place in the Council Chamber at 6.00 p.m.

The reception was approved by Council on May 24th to express the solidarity and support of the people of Cork to the family and particularly to the conjoined twins Hassan and Hussein who were successfully separated in a 14-hour operation at London’s Great Ormond Street Hospital last month.
