Lord Mayor receives Official Car from Ford Ireland

Following a tradition established in 1989, the Ford Motor Company recently delivered to the offfice of the Lord Mayor the free use of the company’s flagship car, the Mondeo Titanium 2.0 TDCI, for the year. By tradition the Lord Mayor's car is also the first car registered in the city every year.

Speaking at the handover of the keys by Eddie Murphy MD Ford Ireland , the Lord Mayor Cllr. Dara Murphy stated:

“Given the current economic climate we are delighted Ford Ireland have continued this tradition. Ford have maintained its strong history with Cork and provided employment over the years to many generations of Corkonians”.
