Mr Michael Geary, Chairman of Cork Marketing Partnership said “The Better Building Awards now in their 9th year have charted the changing landscape of Cork City Centre.   2008 was a record year for the number of entries received and we saw top class winners emerge; Elysian, Mardyke Entertainment Complex, Blackrock Castle Observatory, Market Lane Restaurant and Linehan Design to name but a few.   This year we anticipate applications from some of the great new developments nearing completion and with the ongoing maintenance and care that business owners lavish on their premises throughout the city we are expecting a strong response to this year’s Awards competition.”
